The Menkiti Group in Washington, DC is renovating a mixed-use building in nearby Mount Rainier, Maryland. Bordering Washington, DC, Mount Rainier is a highly-desirable location enjoying a lot of commercial interest and residential growth due in large part to its proximity to the nations capitol as well as its many local amenities. Historically, the building at 3300 Rhode Island Avenue housed a Singer sewing machine repair show and thus bears the moniker "The Singer Building". The Menkiti Group's project will feature 11 boutique apartments situated over 10,000 SF of prime restaurant and retail space in the heart of Mount Rainier's Gateway Arts District.
The marketing of this asset required creating two separate, yet complementary logos to promote the commercial and residential portions of the project. Elements of this suite of logos and badges are influenced by the building's history, coupled with the modern design of the apartments. The result is striking, timeless branding that complements and elevates the project's marketing efforts.
This broader assignment also required the creation of Menkiti Group-branded presentation boards and a matching brochure to promote the commercial side of the project. Those materials can be viewed here.
